I Found A Californian Dumber Than Lindsey Lohan
California is a beautiful place to live. It has nice weather, beautiful beaches and plenty of things to do. However, California has also provided some of the dumbest people to have ever appeared in the public spotlight. Making a run for the top of the list, are the members of the California Air Resources Board that give even the likes of Lindsey Lohan a run for title of “most idiotic”. Continue reading

9/11: A Series of Double Dactyls
A recent assignment for my Critical Thinking class was to write a reflection on 9/11, incorporating certain viewpoints (Bush’s and bin Laden’s speeches, as well as our own thoughts) and asking, “What is the difference between war and terrorism?” This … Continue reading

Should Have Just Said No
The president asked for a and received a chance to speak before a joint session of .congress to present his jobs’ bill, but Speaker of the House John Boehner should have just said no. We already know what a “jobs’ bill” means. It means: more spending, more debt, higher taxes, more research into the effects of cocaine on monkeys, and more unemployment…For these reasons (and the fact that every time he speaks the market tanks) Speaker of the House John Boehner should have said no to President Barack Obama’s request to speak before a joint session of congress. I was so impressed by their being good sportsmanship over the election and how they were not at all rubbing it in the face of the Democrats, that I thought i should post it here as my reaction to the election. Evil
There is no doubt that there is evil in the world. A look at the history of Europe tells us this, from Hitler and the Holocaust to Stalin and the Holodomor. Based on those two events alone, there can be no doubt about the existence of evil. Yet, despite the outrage at those events, the same kind of evil still exists today. Continue reading

The Double Standard
If you haven’t noticed – and I didn’t until not too long ago – there is a severe liberal bias in this culture. This bias has resulted not only in a change in America’s values and policies, but also has brought about … Continue reading
