California is a beautiful place to live. It has nice weather, beautiful beaches and plenty of things to do. However, California has also provided some of the dumbest people to have ever appeared in the public spotlight. Making a run for the top of the list, are the members of the California Air Resources Board that give even the likes of Lindsey Lohan a run for title of "most idiotic". Continue reading →

The Republican primaries are drawing nearer and nearer, and now the latest front runner, not named Mitt Romney is Newt Gingrich. Some people say, "anyone other than Mitt Romney," and for a while I agreed with them, but now I have to ask a question. Is Newt Gingrich better than Mitt Romney? That is the question I will look at in my next post, but let me first give you something to think about, hat tip to Glenn Beck. What is really the problem in America, is it overspending or is it progressivism? Is it over-taxation or is it progressivism? Is it corruption or is it progressivism? Is it over-regulation or is it progressivism? Let Glenn Beck answer those question, and that in turn will frame my answer to the Newt vs. Romney question for my next post. Watch Glenn Beck's speech before CPAC in 2010 Continue reading →

The 2011-2012 Major League Baseball season ended in disappointing fashion for the Boston Red Sox when they squandered a 9 game lead and failed to make the postseason. The off-season was sure to bring big changes for the team, and to begin, the shock waves from this historic collapse cost manager Terry Francona his job. Then the next bombshell dropped, general manager Theo Epstein left the Red Sox to join the Chicago Cubs. Then, this past Friday afternoon then first big move of free agency was announced, closer Jonathan Papelbon is taking his river dance to Philadelphia. Continue reading →

I just get that feeling, that we will see Francona in a Red Sox uniform again someday. I get this feeling especially since Francona removed himself from consideration for several manager positions to take some time off. Continue reading →

The president asked for a and received a chance to speak before a joint session of .congress to present his jobs' bill, but Speaker of the House John Boehner should have just said no. We already know what a "jobs' bill" means. It means: more spending, more debt, higher taxes, more research into the effects of cocaine on monkeys, and more unemployment...For these reasons (and the fact that every time he speaks the market tanks) Speaker of the House John Boehner should have said no to President Barack Obama's request to speak before a joint session of congress. We've heard enough from Obama and his economic policy of Tsunami poverty (it destroys all in it's path) and instead he should have sent his representatives home to meet with their constituents, We the People. Continue reading →
